3D character model FINAL
So here is the final model with its texture set I created for the assignment 3 of my 3D computer graphics course. The diffuse map is all hand painted by myself except for a wool texture that can be slightly seen on the scarf. If you want to know more of the modeling process and other information about this character I suggest you check out my previous blog posts; So here is the final model with its texture set I created for the assignment 3 of my 3D computer graphics course. Photogrammetry and face topology
During the last leg of the 3D computer graphics course, we students got to look at photogrammetry as a different way of going about creating your 3D models. Photogrammetry is a process whereby you use photos of real objects taken from several different angles and later import them into a software like “123 catch” that it puts all the pieces together and creates you a 3D model of your photographed object. This method of creating 3D models is by no […]

Character modeling – Assignment 3 update
Here is a quick little visual update on the character modeling I’m currently doing as the last assignment of my 3D computer graphics course. The character concept with it’s pre-production package was given to me by my classmate Simon Brundin, who can be found here: https://harttago.wordpress.com and you can also read more about this character in my earlier blog posts.
I started modeling by using a human female turnaround as a reference to get the female shapes […]

Assignment 3 – Character game world
In my latest blog post I wrote about the background of the character I got to model and skin as the last assignment of our 3D graphics course. In this post I’ll be talking a about the character world for the Pilot character I chose for my pre-production package that is going to be modeled by Henrik Forsman (http://barthuc.wordpress.com). If you are interested in more information about my chosen character and in following the modeling process, I suggest you […]

Character background of “Lady”
In my previous blog post I shared my progress on the organic 3D character modeling assignment that is due at the end of our 3D graphics course. In this blog post I will talk about the pre-production package I got from my fellow classmate Simon Brundin (https://harttago.wordpress.com). I will share the character background and some information on the game world that this character originates from.

3D modeling organic characters – Assignment 3 update
As our final assignment for our 3D graphics course we students are going to model organic characters. Before modeling, a lot of time was put in to finding good concepts with turnarounds and later then creating a character background and setting for that chosen model. In other words, a full fletched pre-production package had to be made. During class the teacher told us to later switch pre-production packages with one another and the package I got was from a student […]
