Character modeling – Assignment update 3

Here is a quick little visual update on the character modeling I’m currently doing as the last assignment of my 3D computer graphics course. The character concept with it’s pre-production package was given to me by my classmate Simon Brundin, who can be found here: https://harttago.wordpress.com and you can also read more about this character in my earlier blog posts. I started modeling by using a human female turnaround as a reference to get the female shapes down right. After that I started to scale the proportions according to the action poses provided in the pre-production package. If you have read my previous blogs about this character you will know that this character comes from an Egypt inspired enviroment. That’s the reason behind why the hair does not follow the concept. The hair is done with Cleopatra in mind to really give off a Egyptic feel to the character. |
