What’s Next? How did it go?

Hello again. This last week has been very relaxed and easy, this Monday we had the BETA deadline along with every single group’s BETA presentation. A very long and rough day for many students. But it was still very satisfying to know that we only have one last milestone left in this project. That milestone is the Final version of the game. We have about 10 days including weekends to finish our game from that BETA deadline. Meaning that the […]

BETA PRESENTATION PREPARATIONS

Dear Blog. This week has been more than just intense, the final week before the BETA deadline for our game development project. My group and I have constantly been working at our headquarters location to try to finish every aspect and feature of our game so far. I have myself been very busy with creating the BETA presentation that is coming up on march 6. Going back in time to my last presentation at the Alpha, I must say that […]

Back to the backlog

After finishing the Alpha and receiving a pass on all the requirements for our game, we have now headed back into game production development to make sure we pass the Beta requirements. The beta is our next production milestone which means that the game should have all playable features completed.
As we have recently started to work again we noticed quickly that our Sprint plans have started slowly but surely started to deviate from the product backlog. The backlog has not […]

Pressure and responsibilities

Today was the deadline of the Alpha. The complete version of the minimum viable product was due today. It required our team to have completed and fulfilled each requirement that our teacher Marcus had set up for this day. Marcus had also decided that each of the 25 consisting groups in our program should present their Alpha to the rest of the students, a 10 minutes’ presentation involving 2 parts. First to discuss the concept, the positive and negative parts […]

5SD037 – Transparancy

During the last two weeks our game production project has managed to proceed through the pre-production phase and entered the production phase. The pre-production phase has mostly been occupied by heavy design decisions along with the new experience of using scrum and its tools. My role as a producer for this project has brought me to be responsible for the backlog, goals, sprints and sprint reviews for this project. During the pre-production phase, I have been conducting meetings as well […]
