Merry Christmas! So when others are drinking egg nod and the Swedish Christmas specialties ”glögg” and ”julmust” during a quite relaxing weekend i am stuck with my groups Pokémon project. So far we have managed to print a background image with a movable character on it with some collision covering the edges, so our character do not runt outside the screen. Our main concern at the moment is adding additional blocks restricting the movement on the map along with creating a state changer connected to collision on certain places along the map. So we can enter houses and by doing so switch to a new background with new collision. Okay this is our current state. This is going to become Prof. Oaks laboratory where you can choose which starter pokémon you would like to have. We are going to add three balls to the table and when you have chosen one the others will be removed and the one you chose will be added to your character and summoned once you enter battle. That will however be a later issue. Right now we focus on simply creating the different states we need such as intro, open world, laboratory etc, then set all of these into one solution with working collision. Merry Christmas. |
