He also touches on the fact that there are aspects of scrum, namely the requirement of filling in the number of hours you expect your task to take, which he doesn’t feel useful as we are still very new to game making and don’t have much experience when it comes to guessing that kind of stuff. I can thoroughly relate to that observation, since my guessed hours are usually way off, because there are unforeseen problems, or something goes smoother than expected. The author states that to him the most important part of scrum is the deadlines and explains that they have helped him and his team to manager their time better. |
