COMMENT 3 27/02/2017 Hi. I am not very interested in learning project management methods, but I do realise that it is important to know at least one that works if you are trying to finish a bigger project. I get a feeling that you feel about the same about scrum as me; you are mostly interested in the practicality of it. I agree that learning scrum is best by using it and working with it, and you really see the pros and cons of it. I thought (but I could be wrong) that the daily stand up meeting is supposed to be around 5 minutes. (But usually it takes a bit longer for our group as well). Then I have to point out that the picture in your blog is too small to see and read the text. It is a relevant picture that is explained by your text but it is very hard to see and there is no source where it is from (I guess you haven’t made it yourself?). What I wish to see more in your blog is more of YOU and what YOU think. How did scrum affect YOUR work, and what do you think about scrum? Otherwise your blog is written well and it is easily understood. Keep up the good work.
COMMENT 2 20/02/2017 Health bars are a good way of communicating the health of the player. As long as you avoid numbers it is good, I think. Of course it would be nice to have some very innovative and cool design, but most players are familiar with the bar and for a 2D shoot ‘em up I think it works fine. https://programminggamesafunworkload.wordpress.com/2018/02/14/simplest-health-bar-ui/ |
