Big Game Project Week 2

Week two of the big game project has come to an end and the game has progressed a fair bit. The work that I have done has not produced any new assets for the game but I have used the modular assets already created to build houses and the beginning of the city.

During this week a lot of time has been spent UV and light mapping the assets that I created last week. But some time has been used to create the beginning of the city the game is set in.

On these first images you can see how the streets look from the characters perspective at the moment. Hopefully the following week will result in some colour reaching the city streets. In the end the streets will look more busy with more things on the streets and more signs and more of everything hopefully.

Here is a view of all the buildings that I have created as prefabs and lined up on a line to give an easy overview. The low buildings will be used on the side that the camera is on so that the player will have a better view of the street and the higher buildings will be on the other side of the street.

Here is two overview images of the city as it looks at the moment. The road that continues in the distance will be the continuing of the citys streets in the coming week hopefully.
