BGP – 6

In last post I talked about bikes and bike stands etc! So I guess now I should introduce the school…

The good thing about our game is that we had a time limit. That basically means the player doesn’t have too much time to roam around and investigate the environment and notice all the possible things that could be missing. There can be so much weird things located in classrooms, especially in elementary school because they are filled with drawings made by the pupils and stuff like that. Surprisingly, there was no time to do them either. But anyways, it did end up looking like a classroom. I guess the most important things are a clock and bookshelves and such so the walls don’t look like an abandoned building’s walls.

Moving on!

As I have explained probably before, we have a noticeboard filled with the missing people that we are supposed to find. Our main idea was that the notes would have information of their whereabouts. Something like: “He works at the local bar, not sure if he had a shift today”. However, we wanted some variation so we decided to have a missing person who usually carries something they are fond of, maybe a backpack and that could be written on the noticeboard. We decided that the object would belong to the 8-year-old little girl but we didn’t want it to be too “girly”. After this we were thinking of perhaps a football or a backpack but we ended up choosing the backpack. I didn’t want make just a regular backpack, I wanted it to have some character. Young kids tend to like weird-looking objects so why not make a backpack with a monkey on it! I found a cute reference image, which looks like this:

And the one that I did looks like this!
