Global Game Jam!

23-01-15. The global game jam started and the theme was announced. I had formed a group with 2 other people Gabriel Ajuwa and Nayomi Arvell. I have worked with Gabriel before but not with Nayomi but everyone got a good relation to each other. So the theme was “What do we do now?”. At first we thought of a stop time mechanic but this in the end was trashed as we were not sure of how to make it fun. Instead we started think of a platformer were you and your friend was your platform. One player had the gravity reversed and therefore we completed a challenge made by Diversi. “Noise Generator” this challenge was to make the player stand in constant conversation to be ale to beat the game.

When we got the game idea down we started to assign roles. Gabriel studies Game programming but he did not want to be the lead coder for this project because he had coded the whole week non-stop so I was assigned the role. This was the first time i started coding in Unity with C# so this was a learn by doing experience. So in the end we got a prototype for the game.
