Blog feedback 4 Tim Wergeni Johansson : https://tims0n.wordpress.com/2018/03/01/level-design/comment-page-1/#comment-10 Hello Tim, Hampus Bergström here. First off, great work on explaining how the current map design works, its benefits for testing mechanics but also its problems when it comes to match your theme and aesthetic goal. Overall it is a good post, but I also have some criticism. When reading on how you are going to design the new map you have me a little bit confused. You explain in your post that in the later stages of development when the player could no longer see the rocks at all times, the narrow parts of the map became significantly more difficult. Yet you want the game to begin narrow and become increasingly more open, would this not prevent the player from having an easy start? Also, in the end you say that you want the later stages of the map to become more narrow. I thought you wanted it to be more open at the later stages? These two things had me confused. I might have misunderstood you but If I have misunderstood you, probably other will too. So, in the future you should probably be even more clear on what you are trying to explain. Otherwise, great post! Keep on the good work and good luck doing the final touches on the game. Hampus Bergström
