GAME PROGRAMMING I: WEEK SEVEN TO TEN

So I havn’t been quite so active here as I should have been, mainy due to the fact that during the holidays I was home visiting family. However since I last wrote here I have finished the Legend of Zelda clone that I started on on week four. The game is fully functional and although not perfect it is something that I am glad to have worked on. The assets used in the game are taken from various sites on the internet. The images were taken from www.spriters-resource.com/ and www.wiizelda.net/ . Sounds were taken from noproblo.dayjo.org/ and the music from www.vgmpf.com/ . In a previous post I mentioned that I would use certain Items because I belived that they were part of the core experience of the original game, however they did not make it into the game due to time restrictions and had to be left out. The game map that I had previously shown did make it in, and I made the map texture using assets from the sites listed above. All that is left to do with the project now is to write my report and hand in my work. After that this course is finished. |
