3D Computer Graphics I: Assignment 2 Update – Model, UV and WIP of Diffuse Map
|
This is the WIP post of my Jug that I am making for Assignment 2. One would think that I’d remember the basics of how the different software work since we just went through it all in class, but it’s been so much information at once that I had to struggle with re-learning it again. Not understanding the software is the most tedious part in all this, but once I am working it feels way better than the first time. I will now post a series of pictures of my model, the UV-map and what the Diffuse Map looks so far. I have yet some work left to do on it, like some dried specs of dirty water, a crack and stuff like that. But it’s getting there. One knows that one has worked for hours in painting dirt when you catch yourself of being jealous of the streets outside for being so effortlessly dirty. Optimized Model With UV-Checker on. There is a sharp edge in the middle of the model on these pictures but they have now been smoothened. UV-Map WIP Diffuse Map – Working in Mudbox Reference Photo |
