Week 5 – Big Game Project – Defunct

I was still sick during the entire week, so I worked from my apartment. I did spend some time fixing errors in my level, but it was decorating the level that took the majority of the time. During the week we also had some discussion regarding lighting, there were a lot of arguing and mixed/impulsive opinions. So the whole Tuesday I sat and experimented with lighting, I think that we now have come to an agreement.

How we want the night-level to look like (somewhat), but insecurities are still high, there is risk that we will do some big changes.

Other than that, the week has been going very slow; decorating takes a lot of time. I actually lost track of time, I thought it was Wednesday when it actually was Thursday. So my level wasn’t ready, sadly, when it came to the alpha day.

However I was healthy enough to attend and we realized there what we had to do, there were a lot of thing but the one that concerned me was the tutorial. Nobody really knows the terms and how to play, so we will need to put a lot of emphasis on it. This week (week 6) I will focus on the tutorial level, I will design and start building it immediately after I practiced my presentation with Marcus, wish me luck…
