Crunch time!
|
We, or at least I believed that we would have whole this week to work on our board game, but that wasn’t the case. Luckily I managed to finish the wizard tower during the weekend and therefor I had two days to play test our game and focus on drawing the loot cards. On Monday we play tested our game for the last time, trying out an old method once again. What we did was to play test how it would be if the player had to eliminate all the enemies on a tile, before flipping it. When we tested this earlier it just slowed down the game because the mana spin wasn’t moving forward. But because we have balanced the game in many different ways since then this was now possible so we decided to add it to the game once again. After the play testing I went home working with the loot cards until my eyes couldn’t take it anymore. After a few hours of sleep I begun to draw again before it was time to meet up Mariam at school to print everything out. Once at school we noticed that we didn’t have all the art that we needed, therefor I began to print things out, cut them and re-write the cards meanwhile Mariam was stress painting the rest that we needed. The time flew by and when it was time to show up the game for our class members we weren’t quite done yet. But the rest of our group showed up and we got some help with the cards, so a little late but finally we managed to get the cards done and two groups got time to test our game. The only thing we have left now is to do our individual and group postmortem. I’m nearly done with mine individual but today were going to meet up and crunch some more on the group report. When we have written till our fingers bleed it’s time to take a break, and celebrate.. by watching BLIZZCON 2013! ;D Woop woop! |
