Beta Presentation, Week 5

So this week has been interesting in several ways. To start with we have had both good and bad news. The good news is that we are almost done with the project. We think we have done what we originally thought we would do but, here comes the bad news, we are still missing out on some of the art. This might have been because of lacing communication but also because our artist is the only artist and he has been sick. What? What i have been doing this week, besides calling to meetings and being sick, is preparing and presented the presentation for the class. I think i did pretty well. How? So how did i prepare and present the presentation? First of i made sure all of the criterias that i was to present were answered. I ask my group if there was anything special they think had gone better or worse since last time. The group though of how good everyone had been with unity and how much everyone had developed their unity skills. I of course agreed up on this since watching from a side i can see how much quicker and However the group could not think of anything that had ”gone for the worse” so i asked if they did not feel pressure or if they think the planning had been better or worse. We all agreed up on the stress would have increased since the alpha, even though this was from natural causes. As i said befor the art are not fully done and we still have placeholders. This might add up in the stress since most of us can’t do anything about it. I can only imagine the stress for Florant our artist. Another thing that have been hard to do is planning according to the spring planning. Since the game is almost done and we have a hard time knowing what needs to be tuned or fixed until we see the problem it is hard to plan for. This might have created some confusion but i think the team handles it well through their communication and ”get togethers” where we meet up to talk about problems and working with the game. Why?
I choose a more simple way to present this because of the 10 minutes time limit. I also choose to do the slides very simple since there is no reason to take time from the Playtesting or game showing.
