Oh Ja, Das Ist Structured

skarmbild-5I, supreme leader Johannes, have made our group’s scrum document look more structured than the Third Reich. My fellow team members seem to have forgotten the common rules of writing like the peasants they are, luckily I didn’t have anything better to do so I spent several hours restoring our honour.

Colour coding, capitalization, centring and other extremely accelerating activities occupied most of my precious time. As you can see on the beautifully captured print screen, my work would make people with OCD experience multiple orgasms. It also serves to give us a clear picture of the work ahead of us. I mean how would you know what to do if the sentence starts with lower case? The answer is you wouldn’t. You would just feel confused and angry, thinking about all of those sentences that actually start with upper case. Therefore I made this fixing work a top priority. Here at Rukh CO we want all employees to have a safe and calm working environment.

The structuring was mostly done at home, watching YouTube videos simultaneously to lighten the feeling of excruciating boredom. However, I can’t deny that seeing a really nice document makes my brain euphoric. It’s like eating candy when you’re really hungry – you know you shouldn’t feel good but it is undeniable. Our scrum master has taught me much about what the document implies and I combined that with my knowledge of the Agile methodologies to organize an effective plan of our work. We focused on including many unrefined features for the alpha, emphasizing our dedication to the Agile iterative model. This was very successful, no doubt thanks to the extensive planning in the scrum document.

Other than the document work I have continuously motivated my slaves and been part of many design decisions since our designer quit. I can’t imagine why. There have been discussions amongst other project managers about what we can actually do to fill twenty hours of work. However, looking a their scrum documents makes me want to strangle a baby. It’s not hard filling up work hours if you’re achieving perfection.
