Hi! I’m Anders Hagström and this blog is intended to be the ongoing chronicle of my work as a game design student at GAME, the Department of Game Design at Campus Gotland. I am a music producer since 15 years and I decided to study Game Design when I composed the music and made the sound FX for the critically acclaimed iOS game Darkin. A huge game nerd since the 90s making music for a game was an awesome experience but I wanted to know more. Being a professional musician and sound designer I’m confident I’ll be able to look upon a game project in a way that is perhaps not entirely common among game developers. During the coming weeks I will start my own development company dubbed Owl Fortress, initially it will focus on sound work but as I expand upon my game development skill sets so will the breadth of my entrepreneurial abilities. Upon having finished my bachelor’s at GAME in three years I hope to continue on as a successful independent game developer. Let the adventure that is the rest of my days begin! |
