Big Game Project – GGC

The course Big Game Project is now over and the games were on display for three days during GGC. It was absolutely amazing this year, and we got a lot of valuable feedback that will help us as we continue to develop our game.

Our game Tower Offensive actually ended up winning three awards!

  • Best Presentation Award – This one is mostly to Emelie’s credit, but we all took part of the glory.
  • Cha-Ching Award – Given to the game with the best market potential.
  • Almedalen’s Library Award – The neighbor library to the school chooses one game they will put on display.

We’re all very happy that people enjoyed our game, and we’re excited to keep developing it. We’re hoping to release it before the end of the year and for that sake we had some discussions after GGC about which direction we wanted to take the game.

Ultimately we decided that we want to focus on mobile and tablets since it was so well received on the tablets we displayed the game on during GGC, and once we’ve done that we might make a less touch-adapted PC version.
