Week 5

Week 5 Late post this week.. Last week’s feedback session gave us some things to think about although we already knew most of the things we heard from the playtesters. This week has been spent on iterating my assets, changing the models and textures aswell as optimizing the normalmaps on the rock and trees. On the previous version we had 2 different Spruce models which I stuck into the ground to make them in different sizes on the terrain. Unfortunately placing assets manually lowers the fps which resulted in that I had to make 3 spruce models in different sizes that I could use with the paint tree brush. I’ve been working on the terrain, placing trees, rocks, grass and blueberry spots. Simply filling out the terrain with vegetation. I think that this is what I will be doing the last 3 weeks of the project aswell. My goal is to have the whole terrain filled up with assets before Friday next week. Fixed screenshots of the game
