Hi Edin! It’s nice to see that you’re bringing a lot from the project. I do agree that there is probably no way of perfecting game making. And even if there was, you will always be working with different people inhabiting different personalities leading to different dynamics – so it probably won’t be the same. I’m also glad to see that you’re expressing your dissatisfaction. I think a lot of the groups, myself included, wanted more than was ultimately produced. But at the same time there is a limit to how much work is reasonable to put in without burning out. I think the best way out is to be agile and make sure to make changes as you go, if you can tell by an early stage that you won’t be able to reach your first ambitions. Other than that. Well written blog, it communicates what you felt about the project quite rapidly while also diving deeper in certain areas. I like the conclusion too, sums it up nicely. Good luck in next project! |
