First of all I applause you for your structure and use of language.
In this blog post you come with a lot of new information but you present it in a concise manner that is easy to follow. Not once was the red thread lost and each paragraph has a clear topic. It is a clear timeline on how you did the work with some reasonings on why you did it.
I really like how you bring up your group and the results of your meetings and the proceedings during the meeting themselves. Though I was a bit confused whether the disagreeing team member was present at the meeting or if they were the one who skipped out on it.
I got to admit that I am curious about the argument and what the underlying root was but it is wise that you don’t go too much into detail over it on the blog.
You reflect and try to find a solution in hindsight for the problem which is a most excellent thing to do that is an easily missed action to take. In this case, I believe it was hard to really do much since it’s clear that there was not an abundance of time available to solve it. If there had been time there could have been discussions and fix of the script if deemed necessary but now you can only talk it out with the team member and take the lessons learned for the future like you write.
All in all, it is a good post since it brings up the problems that arise when working in groups or teams. It’s hard to predict and even harder to solve at times. I believe that this could be a good insight for people starting working in groups what situations can arise.
