Game Jam 8h

This is a late update, we had a game jam at school 2 weeks ago were we would make a game in 8 hours only using gamemaker free. In total we worked for 6h30min because of a lecture we wanted to go to. The theme of the game jam was everyday doom. The only rules was that we could only use game maker and couldnt offend anyone, except Ulf. Ulf is a guy that work at the school. Sp because of that me and my team instantly came up with an idea that would be offending to Ulf.

We named it Ulf Escape and the goal of the game was to escape through the 3 maps without getting caught by Ulf and his camera. ulf is trying to find anyone he can take dirty pictures off and you dont want that, so you are dressed as a ninja. If ulf sees you he will hunt you down and take dirty pictures off you, if he sees you, you have to drop a pornmag, Ulf will then instantly go for that instead. Because he loves porn.

The problems we encounterd was game maker being a terrible engone, even worse in free version. And in the end Ulf somehow got slower and wassent as fast as he should have been.

The most fun was when Ulf played the game, he didnt untersdant that the guy chasing him was himself, so when the Ulf in game went after all the porn he said “Wow this guy is really devouring porn!” and his coleage then said “Ye it’s allmost like they did their research.” It was a lot of fun.
