SDL reintroduction

*one thousand words* There, now the rest is gravy.

Today we had an introduction to SDL with Tommi and learned how to implement SFML for a Visual Studio project, our group had already used it a bit for the prototype(Thanks Bolt) but i think Tommi’s method was slightly different. I saved a copy of the project at one point with the intention to use it as a starting point whenever i make a new project.

During the afternoon the group was separated as some had classes, some worked in the Game room, some disappeared and i went to the second smaller lecture with Tommi about including SFML in Visual studio 2013. I didn’t manage to keep up and in the end i managed to break the non-backup version of my project from earlier, luckily the backup still ran so it should be fine. After than i went to search for the rest of the group who were spread out over the school, in the end i sat in the Game room and write on the Scrum document.

While writing i realized that we had not discussed our menus enough, what would be in each menu and what features this would require. I called for a design discussion about this tomorrow at some point.

It seems that the group effectiveness was lowered by the fact that we were spread out so we should probably try to stick to F15 as much as possible in the future where there are no distracting elements and the group can work in unison instead of individually.
