Hey Samuel,
I think you accurately describe what you have been working on and how you went about it. For the part concerning what you have been working on, I particularly liked how detailed it is, i.e. everything from explaining what white noise is and how it is useful in creating windy sounds – to explaining what can be observed from the frequency bands. The images of the ‘noise’-frequencies is also a great way of explaining what white noise “looks” like.
How you went about creating the sounds using low pass filters, reverb, the LFO and the Step Sequencer and what the purpose of those are, is also explained very well – making it very easy to follow the sound design process. You also explain why you wanted these sounds to some extent, and this is probably just nit-picking, but perhaps you could have explained this in a little more detail. For instance, why exactly do you think Synth Vocals are perfect for your game? Maybe in relation to your game’s aesthetics? Otherwise I can’t think of anything to add.
Great blogpost! It was very interesting to read. Good luck with your game!
