Go Game
|
This game was made as a project for the last year of my “gymnase” studies. It features a Goban which applies the rules of Go (except the “Ko” and “No Suicide” rules). At the start of the game, the Goban’s dimensions are 19 x 19. The players may choose to play in a smaller Goban by inputting the dimension they wish in the box on top of the Goban. If the players choose dimensions which are smaller than 5, as is the case in the image above, a pop-up will appear to let them know that the Goban may only be 5 x 5 or larger. The same thing happens if the players want to play on a Goban larger than 19 x 19. At the end of the game, when the two players have skipped their turn consecutively, the score is calculated and given to the players. As I knew almost nothing of Object Oriented Programming and was new to TypeScript programming, I used many online resources such as Stack Overflow to help me. |
