Logo and tshirt desgin – Big Game Project

Upon finilizing the game’s name from “MSSP” to “Warpers” we needed a logo as well as tshirts for the Gotland Game Conference.

I was in charge of creating sketches for the logo designs. My initial thought was to incorporate a warp effect in the actual logo to tie in with the name of the game. But I did also want to have the low-tech feel of our space game to convey in the logo. So one day I sat down and tried to come up with as many different logo designs as possible.

The group liked the industrial feel of number 3 as well as the clean and spacy feel of both 11 and 12.

The next comming day I sat and further developed the sketches that the group liked, which I unfourtunately dont have picture of, and played alot more with the warping aspect in the text. However, after getting feedback from other teachers on the logo designs there were somethings than needed to be fixed since the warping text looked like a one-fix filter in photoshop although it was entirely hand-drawn.

That same day, the lead designer of our group sat down and further iterated on the logo during his freetime and came up with a rather finalized version. The group were pleased with the version he presented and decided to use it for the tshirt design.

For the tshirt design we wanted to show off the shipbuilding aspect of our game and decided to use a blueprint type of design of the spaceships on the back.

Above is the final tshirt design. The ships presented on the back will be all different since it will every memeber will have their own ship design that was created by them. The spaceship design above is my spaceship that I created.
