BGP#3 – Filling Empty Spaces
|
Greetings! This week has consisted of stones. There have been many iterations regarding stones, i.e. the floor and wall. I’m afraid I don’t have any screens of the different iterations, perhaps somewhere in the nether but nothing I feel like searching for, you’ll just have to take my word for it. In the end things have turned out well. And we have decided to go for sandstone as the primary stone. And very big ones. I’ve also started to throw in some metal as details making the metal around the pillar not so lonely. The wall panel will also see some patterns be implemented into the flat vertical box that now is empty. The floor tile has very large stones and I chose to only make 4 stones in one tile and then make varying tiles using only color as it is less work and as effective, same goes for the wall panel. The wall decor/pillar will be split into larger stones making it look more like it was made by hand than by a machine. And that is hopefully work for next week if I can make it since my schedule is rather full anyway. Next week will be quite exciting. Next WeekTitle screen! That is what I’ve be making. The title screen will be in the form of a book, fully make in Zbrush similar to the creation of the Hearthstone box used as title screen in that game. We will have to go through the dimensions and such to make it perfect. I’ll be fun to work on materials such as leather and metal as most of I’ve been doing is emulating stone in one way or another.
And that is all I have to say about that. Have a good one! |
