So I have just tried making the camera and chose to walk away for a bit and start with a new task. Because we were 4 programmers it often lead to a person making small and not so very useful things to the alpha. So I became that person and started working on the HUD, which made me create a start screen and a pause menu. This had not been any art created to yet so it has to wait until it was done, but it was easy to implement and apart from that, everything was done. Our game has to get through some deadlines, an alpha, beta and release. Our first deadline is the alpha test, where we have to at least make a game where you can present the movement of the player, a camera that works functionally. To make sure that we do not fall behind and end up making an undone game that can not be presented. So that is what we are working on at this moment!  |
