You can find the link to the blog post down below: https://jadmasri.wordpress.com/2018/02/22/working-with-scrum/ Comment: Its fascinating how different your Scrum planning worked for you, compared to my experiences. This post gives a great, basic idea of what scrum is and how it has helped your group, but for me, the scrum effect did not really kick in until around the beginning of the Alpha week, and now it helps me more than ever. Therefore, it’s quite fascinating to read how you, as an effective and experienced programmer who has dealt with Unity before, has had a more negative effect from Unity these last couple of weeks. But hey! Maybe for your next project, you will be able to add more to the backlog so that you will have more to do for the Beta week? In any case, a lot of the stuff you wrote about the positive effects that Scrum has had on you was also very interesting and fun for me, especially since I can relate to the positive effect of planning ahead and keeping up with a schedule. It’s fun to find similarities! However, I think you should have added a small descriptive of what scrum is and how it, and how the scheduling works. This is because I believe that you will probably get a lot of new visitors, especially game design beginners, that will not understand what scrum is. Overall, a great descriptive post of the positive and negative effects on scrum, but I personally miss some description of what Scrum is that future game designers can benefit to read from. Keep up the good work! |
