Reflection on “Playtesting” blog, by Lina Femling

Hi Lina,
I had a great pleasure of reading this article. It was concise enough, described the topic and answered all the important questions.
I agree with you that, no matter how many internal playtesting you have, an external input is priceless and really helpful. It is good to see that you succeed in your goal of making the funny game.
There is one thing I don’t quite understand; the swarming mechanic. Is it there to save the bees that represent your health/lives or they could also shoot and help you eliminate the enemies? I mean, you did say that you eliminated the option of shooting while in the swarm, but does it refer to the main bee, i.e. the avatar, the surrounding bees or all the bees together?
All in all, the most important thing is that the playtesting helped you to improve swarming mechanics and thus the game. Keep the good work going and looking forward to play it on the final day.
