https://amandacohen58776528.wordpress.com/2018/02/15/blog-post-2-damage-sounds/ Interesting read! Since I personally have very little knowledge of creating sound, it is always intriguing reading about the process behind it. I think it is good that you mention pitch and speed, as that will probably make the sound more varied and pleasing. It would have been nice if you had mentioned what, if any, program you used to create the sound, or if you only used your own recorded sound. Seems very funny to record the different sounds yourself! I find your reasoning about the sound matching the art style important and well written. I only miss some picture(s) depicting the art style, so I can better understand your explanation, since I suppose having the actual sound in the blog is difficult. The second sound, the “beast-like cry”, makes me curious. I presume, since the ship is organic, that it is it that makes the sound when damaged? Here I would have enjoyed a short discussion about this design choice, what kind of “beast”, and why a ship, though organic, should make that sound. Keep up the good work! I look forward to seeing and hearing your finished game! //Therese
