Hi Shifatul! First of all, I’m sorry to hear that your alpha playtest didn’t work out as you wanted. It’s really annoying when that happens, but I also know that more teams had some technical problems with their games on the alpha playtest. I think you solved the problem good by just leave the playtesting and sit together and fix the problem. It’s also good that you did a lot of playtests in the team although, it’s better to let people outside the development test the game to give their opinions. It’s good that your beta playtesting went better and that you could collect feedback, but hearing that you’ve got some really hard and even hateful comments surprise me. There’s a difference between giving constructive criticism and just being mean. Maybe some people don’t know how to phrase themselves? The best thing you can do is just to shake it off, even though it might be hard. I’m really bad at taking critique, since I take it all too personal. As you wrote, I think your team handled it good thinking positive. It would have been interesting if you mentioned some of the (good, constructive) feedback you got from the beta playtest and showed some examples of changes you did after the playtest, just to show how your game developed. I never actually got to playtest your game on the beta and I haven’t seen that much from your game. It’s nice that you chose a game no other team chose and I’m looking forward to play it on Thursday on the final! ^_^ Hope everything goes well the last few days! / Petra
