There has been some time since my last post, this post will recap everything I’ve done since. I would recommend that you read my last post if you haven’t, considering that i will be referring to it.
The first priority was to complete the turnarounds for all the remaining player characters. A Rat Betwixt is supposed to have 4 playable characters all from different made up religions and cultures. First we have the Dyrkare the character featured in the last post. There’s also a pyromaniac called Pyrofet who uses technology to fool society that he’s a magician wielding fire. He was also featured in last post.
Then there is the Kapellmeister character, a bard inspired character using music as a weapon. (yes that was a reference to the amazing song with the same name)
She was also featured in the last post.
Lastly we have the Asanäbb, the name is a work in progress, which is a character believing that that Crows, Ravens and Magpies are divine and immune to electricity. They also believe Tesla is the god of lightning and believe in heathenism.
They have drawn this conclusion based on the fact that birds don’t get electrocuted when they sit on telephone poles. They have also seen ravens in together with Odin in pictures (Hugin and Munin) and lastly they have seen pictures and read about Teslas and his work with electricity.

All characters have elements that are supposed to convey something about them, their culture and religion. For example the ”Asanäbb” has a mask made made to look like a bird skull representing the birds they believe are divine. On the back we have Tesla coils on her back representing Tesla. The weapon, is a pickaxe which in Sweden, where the game is set, is called Crows-beak roughly translated or ”Korpnäbb” in actual Swedish. It is also made to look like a real crows beak. In her left hand she has a bug-zapper reworked to be able to electrocute larger creatures.
The second picture is the Pyrofet, with a staff inspired by a flamethrower. Heat resistant gloves partly inspired by oven mitts and partly inspired by smith gauntlets. The tank on his back is inspired by firefighter gear, and the cuirass is inspired by classic medieval breastplate, with a half neck guard to enable movement for his gas mask.
The last Character is the Kapellmeister. The weapon is inspired by a fiddle bow but with a real blade. The left arm is armored with rough thick strings attached to it.
She has a G-clef on her forehead and back to enhance the music theme. Her segmented plating is inspire by xylophone especially the hip guards. The ponytail is inspired by a classic plume that used to be on helmets, however these will probably not make it in to the final mesh.
