2DII Character design assignment
|
In our 2D course this week we were given the assignment to design a character for a game. We were supposed to think about their appearance but also their personality and try to convey this through our drawings. For this assignment I decided to draw a character from a story I wrote about a year ago. I wrote it as a book, but I think it could work as a game as well! It’s about an assassin named Rasha who is tasked to kill the princess Ece. However, they end up accidentally becoming friends instead and Rasha has to protect Ece from the people who originally wanted to kill her. So this is Ece. She’s very strong-willed and independent, but she’s not old enough to rule on her own yet. This means she constantly has to listen to her advisors and attend long meetings about the politics about the country… Which she’s not exactly a fan of. She much rather prefers to sneak out late at night and go on adventures in the city. Which worries her advisors, of course. But even though she doesn’t always cooperate with them and does mischievous stuff, at the end of the day she still wants to be the next ruler of the country, because she wants to make it a better place for her people 🙂 |
