So little time so much to do

The first term has passed and I’m slowly approaching my final thesis. It has been fun and interesting to read more about animation, animate in motion builder with mo-cap data and analyze games, I also went a course in rapid prototyping which gave me new perspective in early development of games.

Right now I need to focus on the 3D course I’m going where we are introduced to Maxscripting, physically-based rendering, special effects and Unreal Engine4. It’s supposed to be a 10 week course but we have to do it in 5 weeks due to our advanced game design course that will begin shortly after.

On top of that we need to decide what our final thesis is going to be about. I hope to write about emotions, narrative, gameplay and learning, or at least some of the topics combined. My focus has been on how to teach the player to act upon emotions through gameplay, but I’m not sure if I can pull of such work by myself in only 8 weeks, since the optimal way of doing it is by creating a prototype that proofs my point.

But for now I will continue searching work so I have something to do after my exam 🙂
