What’s that in the distance? progress?

Today was a pretty bad day but it did turn out decent after all.

I was feeling a bit under the weather today so I didn’t get much done but i did have a talk with Martin during the afternoon. I managed to get the answers to what i was looking for regarding where the “game loop” of the game was to be placed and now that i know that i know where to start placing the code for game logic.
We also made some proper synchronization of our work and i made sure my parts complied properly, turns out i had a lot of errors running which needed to be fixed before the program would compile properly. Oops.

In any case, the game now has a proper track manager and a collision manager which still needs the collision logic added. Before that i will add functionality for handling inputs. After that it’s all on to game logic. Meanwhile Martin is working on drawing objects. We’re getting the game together pretty late and there probably won’t be a lot of time for polishing but we should be able to compile our work into a functioning version in time for the deadline in the 16th. Tomorrow i will finally get to the part where i can do raw game logic coding without any fancy stuff or external requirements. Should be fun.
