Second Meeting.
We met up again and immediately began discussing what the group had done.

Developers Diary. Meeting 1. Orangutan.

First meeting.
We met up to start the prject by discussing our different ideas and settling on one.
First things first however, we decided to fill in the other roles:
I was given the role of Producer.
Erik decided to be Lead Coder.
Filip decided that Lead Art was for him.
Marcus chose Game Designer.
Alex 1 chose QA and Lead Sound was given to Alex 2.

What´s so great about games?

A while ago we had to write a Swedish popular scientific text connected to our education. I noticed that several students chose to write about game violence. So I figured it would be a good counter to write about the good things we can get from gaming.

So here is my final result for assignment 1 complete with normal, diffuse color and specular maps. In these images the crate is only rendered in 3ds max locally. I have made a few minor changes from the crate I handed in since it was not approved as it was then. I have optimized the poly count further and I have also tweaked around with the diffuse color and specular maps, and I think it […]

The Markham Chronicles

So two weeks ago me and four others got together to answer a challenge.
Create a game through a random plot generator and draw up a sales document.
Our result was a point and click adventure for tablets that we’re really sad wont be made into a real game anytime soon. Because despite being made by rolling some virtual dice and interpreting some random images on said dice, the concept turned out really awesome.

Som en man med ett livslångt spelande bakom sig känner jag mig ofta priviligierad. Jag har upplevt så många milstolpar i spelbranschen sedan den där dagen 1991 då jag köpte mitt första Nintendo för hårt förvärvade sparpengar.
