Gotland Game Conference 2014 – Day Two

I’m actually really tired so I’m not gonna drag on for too long.

Got to try a few new games today.

Outrageous Office (Anarchy Catfish Entertainment)
This game is actually opposite ours… and not only that, it has an eerily similar idea for an input. Really fun game though, love th art style, music and the overall idea.

A Knight’s Flail (Flying Turtles)
The third Kinect game (the first one being ours and the second one being the entry above this one). This game is based on Monty Python and the Holy Grail’s infamous coconut scene, it’s just as silly as it sounds – not to mention fun and challenging.

Vertigoat (Pantcific Productions)
If you told  me that I am going to play a game where a balloon-flying goat is trying to avoid flying fish in order to save his friend from a rainbow, I would probably call you insane (then again, I made a fat king simulator). But here it is – I really like this game, too bad I was tired when playing it so all the blowing made me rather dizzy…

Crocodile Chow-Down (Dentophobia)
One of the principal concepts of the theme park course is to experiment with crazy input methods. If we had a prize for that sort of stuff then Crocodile Chow-Down would win. I do not have the energy or time to describe it in detail, but it has to be seen to be believed.

Temple of Light (Parhelion)
Tried it again since yesterdays test went so-so. shile some of the mechanics where hard to understand and the levels hard to navigate I found the other levels that I didn’t play yesterday funa and clever.

Tower Offensive (Doconstructed development)
I actually tried to play this game yesterday but it crashed as soon as I touched it. I tried again today after waiting until the enormous line was gone and found it fun and complex – I could definitly see myself play it on my pad.

well, that’s pretty much it – I NEED to stop writing now since my sense of spelling and grammar are slowly devolving itno mush. Tahnk you and Good Nihgt!
