Its been all about the final iterations and textures this week. The bear model was already as complete as it could be but the wolf still needed some tweaks. And it got some.
 I have reduced the number of polygons without destroying the silhouette of the wolf and added more detail to its head and face.Some of this was done during the previous week so the uv map did not need to be remade, only tweaked a bit.
The FPB also had its final iterations done to make fully functional.

I gave it a lot more edge loops so that it would get smoother when animated. And I also lowered the sides as they clipped in front of the player camera when animating and claws for the realistic feel.
The textures was a lot of work and was split between med and Johan. He helped with the wolf and dead deer and i created the bases for the living deer and continued on the bear.
We still have some work left but it is mostly done. The wolf texture is a bit of a struggle still but it has come a long way in just a few days from the first version. I started up as just a patchwork of fur but landed a lot closer to a wolf pelt than we thought it would. We even managed to give it some kind of fur pattern.

Not all is done yet and we still have some hours left before we are ready for GGC.
