Big Game Project (week7)

We have now entered crunch and everyone is working their ass off, the days are longer but they fly by even faster.

Our priority’s changed a bit so my focus this week has been to work with feedback animations, tower upgrades and our game trailer. Unfortunately the upgrades took much longer than expected but I still manage to make some animations and begin on the trailer

What took the most time with the towers was to come up with a good design for them with clear steps between each upgrade so the player easily can see the differences and that the tower is getting stronger. I was limited with the colors since each tower represents one resource as mentioned on the last post but I could play around with the silhouettes freely.

I’m least satisfied with the crystal tower since I don’t think the upgrades are as clear as they should be but it was the best I could do with the time I had so it might get remade after GGC.
