Logo and press materials

This week continued in the spirit of last week. There were more work done on the bear model and some on the FPB rig. There is still some work left to be done on both of them but they are looking and working better. Although that took most time this week, there is not much more to say about it. However, we had to create a logo and some press material for the GGC and the SGA.

Me and Johan were designated to create the logo. We had already thought out that it would be fitting if the logo looked like a bear-warning sign. This is the first version we made:

Though through some discussions during the week it came to change. Due to arguments about how the pose was a bit odd and the eyes made it look angry, Johan did some work on it and changed the silhouette.
That was not enough though. A lot of my work had been about the font and the background for the logo and the font used for the first versions just did not cut it for a warning sign. So I did some research and came up with a new style.
This is what we got as our final result:

Bear_print2

The bear looks less angry and more alive and the font gives the logo more of the warning sign-look we strove for.

Along with having a logo we needed some press material and or producer sat down and took a bunch of screenshots and also created a trailer. The screenshots looked a bit flat and dull though and so, me and Oskar got the task of giving them a bit more life (through some Photoshop editing)
