Deer, oh Deer
|
After last two weeks being filled with predators (or more exactly one omnivore and one predator), this week took a new angle and focused on a herbivore. It took a lot less time than the previous models as by now I knew what I had to think about when modeling quadrupeds. Although I had to think a bit about the legs as they bent differently to the wolves and bears. Even so there were little trouble in the construction and the animation seemed to work well with the rig and skinning. After finishing the living deer model I only had to pose it to create the dead deer. For the purpose of getting it to look like a carcass I also gave it a dent in the neck and stomach areas, so that with the help of textures it could get a better look of being dead and fed on. |
