So yeah… I’ve forgot about this blog for a while. So many other strange new places you have to write and commit. I get crazy by all this. However I’ve been programming more than ever lately. Now that the spritemanager and game object manager(which I kind of made) for our game was completed I really felt as if I could do something for the group, So I did! Been sitting at school until early in the morning the last few days coding. There have been many errors and textures messing with me, but with a little help from André nothing has really become a major problem! The alpha is almost as good as complete (apart from that it looks like shit with no pretty stuff at all). I think it’s in very good shape too, very few (possibly none) memory leaks and yeah, I’m proud of it! Ladbon wanted every Game Object in the same vector though. I get why he wants that, but I feel the numbers of ”ifs” and the GetType()-functions gets so irritating. I prefer to have different vectors for say.. Players, projectiles and enemies. I like to skip GetType()s. This can however be changed fairly easy but it will take some time. |
