R-kanoid progression with music and sound
|
After I had that meeting it felt a lot better since I got another perspective on programming and my situation. The game’s new name is “R-kanoid” which gives it a little twist, and yesterday I sat with the code and tried to figure out how to implement the code to the music and sound and trying to understand it, and I do understand it slightly but not as much as I would like to because there is much that I still don’t know about the code I wrote down, even when having an example sample of it from the teacher. When I got done with that I tried to implement a circle vs. circle collision without any success (for instance when you get a multiball and two balls hit each other). Tried to search up some info and understand it by coding myself but I failed and have to ask a teacher tomorrow in class. I really don’t understand it and where to even begin, despite the fact that I was trying. I think I worry more about letting my team mate down than me actually not understanding it, and I’m confused. Really confused… At least I can be happy that I made something by having an example sheet but what’s the point when you can’t even do more and getting stuck? I know I can mail or ask through internet and it’s legit and I will do it but honestly I prefer to rather have a teacher explaining how collision works (or just about anything else) because I’m stuck and it’s frustrating. I feel captured.
