University Projects: Thumbnails

Gonna upload some thumbnails that we made last weeks, I’m not happy of the itchy upload quality (School scanner went insane.)

We were to choose one out of two design concepts. I picked the one called “Clash of Heavens”. I interpreted the design to be about old religions and myths invading our modern realm. So I started designing characters that were not inline with any world. This was due to the background was supposed to change back and forth between mythological and modern. I did this by giving characters oversized tools, making them fit more of an industrial era, but retaining the feeling of modern, they also didn’t have a lot of creative power put into clothing as that would have to be fairly neutral to fit both settings.
